According to the aquifer study presented to Gibsons council on May 16, our water supply is in good shape. The report recommends the establishment of a "ground water management zone" in order to ensure that the water supply is protected.

The shíshálh First Nation has released its new decision-making policy and process for lands and resources throughout shíshálh Territory. Proponents of developments in shíshálh territory are expected to review the policy before submitting proposals.

Sechelt creates new Economic Development organization

Wednesday night Sechelt Council approved the creation of "Sechelt Innovations Limited" - with a budget of nearly $30,000 including $70,000 to hire a "Business Development Executive".
