Judicial Review of the HST Extinguishment Act

On June 29, 2010, the BC Chamber of Commerce together with five BC business associations filed for a Judicial Review of the HST Extinguishment Act, the proposed Bill attached to the “Stop the HST” petition. This legal submission in no way challenges anyone’s democratic rights, or the petition itself. The BC Chamber is attempting to establish clarity in regards to BC’s tax policy, the absence of which may impact potential investment.
