In August 2015, Chris Nicholls was hired as our new Executive Director. Actually Chris is not new, as he was our Executive Director in 2010 and 2011. With his extensive background in Business Development, Marketing & Sales Management, Chris is back with the same drive and enthusiasm to support the Gibsons Chamber members, the business community and the entire Sunshine Coast.
At the beginning of 2015 we had the opportunity to welcome Lisa Desaulniers as our new Office Manager. Lisa, who brings a strong skill set to the position, has provided all bookkeeping and administrative support for 26 years to her husband’s commercial painting business. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She raised her family here in Gibsons and has volunteered extensively in the community. We’re very happy to have her on our team.
