Dear Valued Gibsons & District Chamber of Commerce Business Members and Community Partners:

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to inform you of my decision to step away from my position as Executive Director, Gibsons Chamber of Commerce, effective February 10, 2024.

The decision to retire has not been an easy one, but after much reflection and consideration, I believe it is the right time for me to step back at this time of transition towards unifying the three SC Chambers of Commerce under the new structure of the Sunshine Coast Chamber of Commerce.

It has been an incredible journey working with such dedicated and passionate individuals like yourselves, and I am grateful for the support and camaraderie that has defined our time together – over the years, we have achieved significant milestones and faced various challenges as a united association.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment to our shared goals. It has been a privilege to serve as your Executive Director, and I am proud of what we have accomplished together.

I look forward to staying connected with the association and its members even in retirement. I am confident that the foundation we have built will continue to support the association’s success for many years to come.

Thank you again for the wonderful memories and the support you have provided throughout my tenure.

I wish the new Sunshine Coast Chamber of Commerce the continued success and prosperity in the future.
